This design was a re-visit to an archive design of mine from about 8 years ago....all I had to remind me was this blurry image (below) of a never fully-realised prototype.....

I knew I wanted the key feature to be an oversize silk organza flower....and when I found Diana of Rose Garden Accessories who handmakes all sorts of lovely silk blooms, I decided to re-work my original design.......

This was the largest silk flower that Diana has ever been commissioned to make, but she rose to the challenge of course, and I really love the results......

The 'Katya' design works really well with the 'Fifi' luxury bridal bolero in ruffled silk tulle and ostrich feather.....
